Discovery's drive shaft failure is quite common due to its design. British Parts of Utah offers reinforced/redesigned drive shaft for its longevity.

1. Greasable U Joints: Front driveshaft is located under the HOT catalytic converter which can accelerate the lubrication failure. Our driveshaft is now greasable (factory unit or any aftermarket shaft is not greasable), so it lasts longer with little maintenance.

The centering ball grease we use is highest quality grease from "Lubrication Engineers": synthetic, high temperature and non water soluble.

2. Heavy Duty Construction: Double Cardan U joint is OVERSIZE in order to cope with high torque and load.
